Close up of the hallmark. This is the Hallmark which was used when sold in Germany. The next two lighters have the slightly different hallmart for Export.






A gold lighter made by Martin Mayer. The mechanic of the lighter was invented around 1910 by Richard Kohn. Many gold- and silversmiths/manufactureres bought the mechanics and made the cases themselves.

Very nice Sunburst enamel. Louis Kuppenheim also used very similar enamel colours and finishes.

The sides are opak white enamel. Cartier and Faberge used this technique also a lot.
